Academics are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Nursery Manager to join a wonderful nursery in Streatham. About the Role: Nursery Manager - Streatham
As Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in both the operational and educational aspects of the nursery. The role will be a mix of office-based responsibilities and time spent working directly within the nursery setting. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing a team of staff, ensuring the nursery is compliant with all regulations, and fostering a positive, nurturing environment for children to thrive.
Key Responsibilities: Nursery Manager - Streatham
* Manage and lead the nursery team, ensuring high-quality care and education is provided at all times.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, budgets, and supplies.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
* Build strong relationships with parents and maintain open communication channels.
* Develop and implement engaging learning activities, monitoring children's progress and providing support where needed.
* Manage recruitment, training, and development of staff.
* Conduct performance appraisals and provide ongoing coaching and support.
* Handle administrative tasks such as record-keeping, reports, and updates for stakeholders.
Requirements: Nursery Manager - Streatham
* A recognised qualification in Early Years Education (e.g. Level 3 or above).
* Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or in a similar leadership role within a childcare setting.
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and Ofsted regulations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both in an office environment and within the nursery setting.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
