Are you a Band 3 Pharmacy Dispenser looking for a rewarding locum role in the West Midlands ? We have an exciting opportunity for you!
Job Title: Pharmacy Dispenser Band 3
Location: West Midlands
Duration: Minimum 6 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (30-minute break)
Start Date: May 2025
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £15.50 - £16.00 per hour (via umbrella)
What You'll Be Doing:
Join our client's NHS Hospital pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Dispenser and play a key role in supporting the efficient running of the inpatient dispensary in a busy NHS hospital. In this role, you will:
Assist in the accurate dispensing of medications to inpatients
Work under the supervision of pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe pharmacy practice
Support the pharmacy team with stock management and labelling
Maintain clear and accurate records in line with NHS procedures
Provide an excellent service to patients and colleagues
Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
An NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (essential)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Previous hospital experience preferred but not essential - full training provided
A car driver is ideal due to the location
Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with working hours of 9am-5pm. The contract will run for a minimum of 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service demand.
