Ocean Exports Coordinator

Cast UK is looking for a driven and accomplished Ocean Exports Coordinator to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be experienced in Ocean Freight Forwarding.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and scheduling ocean shipments based on customer requirements and timelines.
* Coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to secure space on vessels.
* Preparing and submitting bookings with carriers.
* Commercial invoices
* Packing lists
* Staying up-to-date with country-specific export regulations.
* Verifying that shipments adhere to import/export compliance laws, including embargoes or sanctions.
* Acting as the main point of contact for customers regarding shipment status, requirements, and issues.
* Providing updates and handling any inquiries related to ocean exports.
Skills Required
* Understanding of freight forwarding, shipping processes, and Incoterms.
* Familiarity with import/export regulations and customs documentation.
* Knowledge of container types, cargo handling, and port operations.
* Proficiency in preparing export documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping instructions.
* Attention to detail in ensuring accuracy and compliance with international shipping requirements.
* Efficient planning and scheduling of shipments to meet deadlines.
* Managing multiple shipments simultaneously without errors.
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including sales, and overseas partners.
