We are seeking an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant with a creative design flare to join a vibrant team in Chelmsford. The reputable firm manages a diverse array of innovative projects spanning hospitality, residential, and healthcare sectors. Renowned for fostering long-term client relationships, this offers an exciting opportunity for a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to make meaningful contributions to high-impact, high-visibility projects
The successful Part 2 Architectural Assistant will have significant experience post Part 2 qualification and will have brilliant knowledge of current UK building regulations. You will have a strong track record in hospitality projects, a keen eye for design, and should be proficient using AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe.
Responsibilities, Skills and Experience for the role of Part 2 Architectural Assistant:
* Significant post Part 2 experience in a UK-based architectural practice
* Demonstrated success whilst working on hospitality projects, supported by a strong portfolio
* Develop detailed architectural plans, elevations, and technical specifications for joinery, electrics, and finishes
* Assist with hospitality design projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction
* Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers, including conducting site visits and reviews
* Confidently manage projects independently and within a collaborative team.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp
* Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
* Experience with construction detailing and preparing technical documentation
* Must be based in Chelmsford
