The Role: Part-Time Teaching Assistant - Croydon

Academics are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join the friendly and supportive team. As a Teaching Assistant you will play a key role in supporting classroom teachers and helping to ensure that every child receives the individual attention they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities: Part-Time Teaching Assistant - Croydon

* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.

* Provide support to small groups or individual children, helping to boost their learning and development.

* Foster an inclusive environment, encouraging all children to participate and succeed.

* Support children with special educational needs (SEN), where applicable.

* Help with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.

* Monitor and record pupil progress, and report to the class teacher as required.

* Uphold high standards of behaviour and help maintain a positive learning environment.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

* Has experience working with children in a primary school setting, ideally as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.

* Has a strong understanding of the primary school curriculum and the needs of young learners.

* Is patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with children and staff.

* Is proactive, reliable, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

* A current DBS check (or willingness for Academics to process one)
