The University is a place where people are at the heart of all they do, where enriching the lives of their students, staff and the communities they serve means they make a difference that really matters.

Now is a very exciting time to be joining them because they are delivering a new strategic plan focused on making the most of their three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for their region, nationally and internationally.

The Role

The University and Imperial College have formed a strategic partnership to open a new medical school to develop and deliver the Pears Cumbria School of Medicine (PCSM). The first students start a bespoke 4-year post graduate MBBS programme in 2025/26. Applying the University's experience in training nurses, midwives and other professions allied to medicine, alongside Imperial's expertise in medical education, they aim to produce doctors who are embedded in their local community ready to contribute to services across the region and beyond.

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join PCSM. The post holder will be responsible for administering the planning and delivery of all assessments the MBBS programme, working in close collaboration with colleagues within PCSM and both institutions' assessment teams to deliver an excellent assessments experience for their students.
