We are looking for a hard-working Pharmacist to work with our NHS Hospital client in Bristol!

The team are searching for a recently qualified Pharmacist/experienced Pharmacist, that would be happy to work in the dispensary and on the wards clinically checking in-patient items and TTAs. The role is suitable for entry level pharmacist with some previous UK hospital experience as a Band 6 hospital pharmacist. General medicine, general surgery and care of the elderly wards based experience will be useful! There is also a chance to secure Band 7 for a suitable applicant.

Details:

* Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist - Band 6/7

* Location: Bristol

* Duration: 6 months minimum

* Schedule: Monday to Friday

* Start Date: October/November 2024

* End Date: On going

* Rate of pay: £23ph - £30ph depending on experience

A Day in the Life of a Clinical Pharmacist

* Covering general medicine, surgery and care of the elderly wards

* Medicines reconciliation and drug chat screening

* Offering advice to patients on the wards

* Helping the ATOs and Pharm Techs with checking when needed

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

* Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacist

* Some kind of previous hospital pharmacy experience

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Working hours and contract duration:

Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:15pm, with a 15-minute morning break and 30 minute lunch break. The contract is for 6 months minimum.
