The Company:
My client, a dynamic Town Planning Consultancy is looking for an experienced Principal Town Planner to join the team based in Preston. The client specialises in expert planning advice and services across a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, specialist housing, retail and leisure, education and health and private clients.
The Position as a Principal Town Planner:
As a Principal Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in leading projects, managing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of the business. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has an entrepreneurial spirit, and can leverage their network to win work and build long-term client partnerships.
Essential Criteria for a Principal Town Planner:
* Demonstrable years of experience in town planning, with a strong private sector background.
* Proven track record in business development and winning new work.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work autonomously and within a small team.
* RTPI membership (or working towards it) is desirable.
