SALARY: Up to £38,000 per annum + Van + Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: This role will involve visiting sites in the South East Region, and candidates can be based out of either Bracknell, Southampton or Crawley.

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Quality Inspector / Electrical Quality Assurance Technician who is a fully qualified Electrician with in-depth knowledge of domestic installations and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Quality Inspector / Electrical Quality Assurance Technician will include:
• Assist Quality & Compliance Manager with drive to maximise the quality of work carried out by on-site electrical teams
• Achieve compliance with the wiring regulations and company procedures
• Reduce the need for customer care callouts
• Conduct in person site audits on the electrical and solar PV installations
• Conduct desktop audits on electrical and solar PV installations
• Ensure workforce are given clear, consistent guidance on expectations
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Fully qualified electrician (NVQ3 or equivalent)
• Experienced and self-motivated electrician with an in-depth knowledge of domestic installations
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Solar PV experience preferable however training will be provided
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing the ability to form a good rapport with colleagues and customers through personal interactions and via email
• Professional demeanour and good personal discipline
• Strong organisational skills, including the ability to time manage and prioritise effectively
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Driven to maximise own productivity
• Good IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide as the job requires
