Job Title: Reception Teacher
Location: Primary School, Hailsham
Required Qualification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
About the Role
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Reception teacher to join a primary school in Hailsham. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing a strong foundation for young learners, helping them to develop essential skills in a nurturing and stimulating environment. This role requires a deep understanding of early year's pedagogy, and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in every child.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and deliver creative and engaging lesson plans aligned with the EYFS framework.
* Cultivate a positive, nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe and valued.
* Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet their evolving needs.
* Work closely with colleagues and support staff to provide holistic learning experiences.
* Maintain strong communication with parents and carers, offering insights into their child's development.
What We're Looking For
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with experience in EYFS.
* A passion for early years education and a clear understanding of child development.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Creativity and enthusiasm for providing rich learning experiences.
* The ability to work as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
