Sales Executive

Location: Manchester and the Northwest area 

Salary: £50,000 £60,000 OTE (Uncapped Bonus) + Company Car or Car Allowance

Hours: Monday – Friday (40hrs)

My client, a well-established Forklift dealer providing materials handling solutions to a customer base throughout the South West and the South Coast of England, is looking to expand the Sales Team and has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to cover the Bristol and Wiltshire area.

What we are looking for in a Sales Executive

Prior experience in field sales

You will ideally have some knowledge of the material handling equipment and associated products or be from a strong capital equipment sales background. 

You will be a confident, clear communicator with a good understanding of the sales process including CRM prospecting, direct marketing and be able to take ownership of customer needs.

You will need to be comfortable working independently and be able to contribute positively to a close-knit team.

High levels of energy and motivation with a will to succeed.

Sound prospecting and negotiation skills

Strong sales planning processes

Ability to use initiative and work independently

Able to understand and solve problems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good IT understanding and skills

Must have proficiency in using CRM software

Must have prospecting experience.

Must have a sound knowledge of finance.

Must have worked independently and developed a new patch.

The main responsibilities of the Sales Executive

The main focus of this role to build the area by identifying new business opportunities, presenting and selling to prospects and maintaining long term relationships with existing customers.

To identify and pursue new business opportunities with new and existing customers

To sell a world leading brand (Mitsubishi) as well as complimentary products, rental solutions, and second-hand equipment.

To prepare sales reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information

To contribute to the team effort by accomplishing results as required

To maintain long term relationships with clients
