School Crossing Patrol
Location : Various locations in the city
Salary: Grade 1 (SCP 3 - 4) £12.45 - £12.65 per hour
Hours: Part Time, Term Time (Hours are set but different for each site and split over two or three shifts in a combination of morning, lunchtime and teatime, as established by the site assessment. Depending on site, the morning shifts begin anywhere from 7.30am until 8.15am until all school starts)
The Role
The post holder will be required to ensure the safe passage of children and adults crossing the road at specified times throughout the day at a designated location.
Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should have an understanding of road use and traffic awareness, as you will be controlling and directing traffic at the crossing point for the purpose of a safer route for children on their journey to and from school. All training and uniform will be provided. There are vacancies at various locations throughout the City.
