The Role - Second in Charge of Science
As the Second in Charge of Science, you will play a key role in leading and developing the Science department. You will work alongside the Head of Science to enhance teaching and learning strategies, ensuring high standards of achievement for all students. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic teacher who is eager to take on leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Head of Department in developing and implementing a high-quality Science curriculum
* Support and mentor Science teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons
* Monitor and track student progress, implementing interventions where necessary
* Inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their best in Science
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning strategies within the department
What We Are Looking For
* A committed and passionate Second in Charge of Science or experienced Science teacher ready for leadership
* A track record of excellent teaching with the ability to engage and inspire students
* A reflective practitioner dedicated to personal growth and professional development
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and develop colleagues
