SEN Teaching Assistant - Hayes
Are you a caring and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Do you have experience working as a Teaching Assistant, providing one-to-one or small group support to help children with additional needs thrive?
We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to join primary schools in Hayes, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in young learners' lives.
SEN TA Role:
* Flexible positions: Full-time and part-time roles available
* Location: Based in primary schools in Hayes, London
* Competitive pay: £85 - £105 per day
* Experience: Prior experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
* Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)
Key Responsibilities of a SEN TA:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to children with SEN
* Assist class teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
* Implement and track progress on Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Create tailored learning resources to support diverse student needs
* Foster positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional well-being
* Work closely with the SENCO and external professionals to develop effective support strategies
