A specialist school are actively looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support with speech, language and, communication difficulties as well as, those with complex and, learning needs. This setting in Bexhill-On-Sea, caters for residential and, day pupils between the ages of 5 to 19. They are proud to say that they are a total communication enviroment. This ensures all students can make their wishes known and, staff with respond in the best communication style that suits them.

Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:

* Provide 1:1 support to a children with complex needs and help students understand instructions.

* Assist in implementing individual learning and, support plans.

* Support children during social activities and outings.

* Work alongside the teacher and SEN team to create a positive learning environment.

* Prepare and provide learning materials.
