A committed school in Eastbourne that specialises within SEN is searching for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex learning needs. This setting caters for students between the ages of 4-19 and, provides teaching strategies to appropriate to each individuals learning and, social needs. You will make a key difference in the progress of the students cognition learning, communication, sensory and physical development, and social, emotional and mental health development.

Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Provide 1:1 support to a child with complex needs and help, students understand instructions.
* Assist in implementing individual learning and, support plans.
* Support children during social activities and outings.
* Encourage communication and manage behaviour.
* Work alongside the teacher and SEN team to create a positive learning environment.
* Prepare and provide learning materials.
Requirements of an SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Impose patience and understanding.
* Have an understanding with challenging behaviour.
* Always be adaptable in any give situation.
* Be able to develop strong and positive relationships with children.
* Committed to working as part of a team.
