Can you provide support and guidance to teachers on how to support students with SEND within the classroom?

Have you delivered, developed and reviewed Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEND, setting measurable targets and strategy for support?

As a SENCo you will be:

* Developing and Reviewing IEPS for SEND students

* Managing a team of LSA working directly with SEND students

* Supporting SEMH needs of SEND students

* Advocating for students with SEND helping students gain additional support

* Ensure compliance with national and local legislation regarding SEND

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and additional SENCo qualifications or willingness to undertake training

* Experience in supporting children with a range of SEN, ideally in a primary school setting

* Strong understanding of the SEND code of practice

* Effective communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff and external professionals
