Your role will include:

* Collaborating with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to manage development projects.

* Leading planning strategies and policies to support sustainable development.

* Handling planning applications, appeals, consultations, and feasibility studies.

* Conducting site searches, impact assessments, and other decision-informing activities.

* Engaging with communities, businesses, and government agencies to foster positive relationships.

* Providing expert planning advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders.

* Staying ahead of legislative changes, trends, and best practices in planning.

What we're looking for:

* Experience in a planning role (local government, consultancy, or the development industry).

* A relevant planning qualification (or working towards one).

* Membership with RTPI (or working towards).

* Strong understanding of the planning process and systems.

* Exceptional writing and communication skills, with high attention to detail.

* A team-player mindset with drive, enthusiasm, and excellent time-management skills.
