An exciting opportunity to join an established International FM service provider based in Liverpool Street has arisen

My client who are an In House Client are seeking a Senior Shift Engineer for a Skyscraper Building located in the Heart of The City of London. The successful candidate can be either Electrical OR Mechanical Bias (City anf Guilds OR NVQ) with a proven track record within Commercial Building Maintenance. 

As this is an In House Client Direct role, packge includes a salary of £60,000, annual bonus, Private Healthcare, Career Progression plus much more!

Key duties & Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the electrical maintenance team during your shift, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.

- Manage and execute high voltage (HV) electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.

Ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, especially concerning HV equipment and procedures. - Oversee and participate in the execution of preventive maintenance schedules for HV equipment to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.

- Act as the primary point of contact during electrical emergencies, coordinating response activities to mitigate risks and restore operations promptly.

- Mentor and train team members, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest industry practices and safety protocols.

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, incidents, and equipment performance. Provide regular shift reports to management.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

- Electrical Level 2/3 – NVQ or City & Guilds Equivalent

- Experience within Critical Maintenance Environements

- Multi-Skilled

- Client facing and presentable

- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
