Role: Senior/Principal Town Planner
Location: Gloucester

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior or Principal Town Planner to join our expanding team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression and the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of exciting projects, from residential, commercial, retail, strategic land, care, rural, heritage, tourism, leisure and renewables!
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and delivering a variety of planning applications and appeals.
* Advising clients on planning strategies and providing expert guidance through the development process.
* Leading project teams and liaising with stakeholders, local authorities, and consultants.
* Preparing detailed reports and planning statements.
* Engaging in business development activities to grow client relationship.
* Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team development.
Skills & Experience Required:
* A relevant degree in Town Planning or related field.
* Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) or working towards it.
* Proven experience in planning, ideally within a consultancy or local authority environment.
* Excellent knowledge of UK planning legislation and regulations.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
