Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborating with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to develop and implement strategic planning policies.

* Leading the development and execution of planning strategies to support sustainable growth across the UK.

* Managing planning applications, appeals, and consultations in line with legislation and best practices.

* Conducting site searches, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to inform decision-making.

* Engaging with local communities, businesses, and government agencies to address planning-related issues.

* Providing expert planning advice and guidance to clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

* Keeping abreast of legislative changes, trends, and best practices in urban planning.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in planning (local government, consultancy, or development industry).

* Relevant planning qualification (or working towards one).

* Membership of RTPI (or working towards membership).

* Strong understanding of the planning process and systems.
