Key responsibilities:

* Managing planning applications, appeals, and consultations for a range of development projects.

* Providing expert advice to clients and stakeholders on planning matters.

* Conducting site searches, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to support decision-making.

* Collaborating with local authorities, government agencies, and community groups to build positive relationships and address planning issues.

* Developing and implementing planning strategies to drive sustainable growth.

* Keeping up to date with legislative changes and industry best practices to ensure informed planning solutions.

What we're looking for:

* Proven experience in a planning role within local government, consultancy, or the development industry.

* A relevant Planning qualification (or working towards one) and membership of RTPI (or working towards).

* Strong understanding of planning systems and processes.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.

* An ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively.

* A proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach to work.
