Senior Planner

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Senior Planner for a well-established planning team based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, growing firm and make a significant impact on a diverse range of planning projects.
As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in driving forward projects across multiple sectors. From promoting strategic land to managing housebuilder proposals, landowner promotions, appeals, and a variety of residential and commercial planning applications, you will have the chance to work on a broad spectrum of interesting and varied projects.
Role Responsibilities:
* Managing and delivering planning applications, appeals, and appraisals.
* Providing expert planning advice for a diverse portfolio of clients.
* Supporting the promotion of strategic land and rural development projects.
* Leading and mentoring junior planners to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.
* Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment to achieve successful planning outcomes.
Role Requirements:
* Chartered Town Planner (RTPI).
* A minimum of 4 years' post-chartership experience in the planning sector, either from private or public sectors.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
* Proven experience in managing and delivering complex planning projects.
* A team player with the ability to work autonomously when required.
