Shift Supervisor

Location: Thrapston

Salary: £31,000 - £34,000 per annum

Shift Pattern:

* Sunday: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

* Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee operations at our busy distribution centre. You will ensure smooth daily operations, including stock accuracy, audits, Dangerous Goods (DG) management, and AI-driven process improvements. While there are no direct people management responsibilities, you will lead the shift, ensure targets are met, and keep everything on track.

Key Responsibilities

* Inventory & Stock Control:

* Ensure system accuracy across WMS and ERP.

* Conduct stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and monitor inventory KPIs.

* Compliance & Regulatory Management:

* Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and safety standards.

* Oversee Dangerous Goods (DG) handling and conduct internal audits.

* AI & Process Optimisation:

* Support AI-driven inventory solutions and process automation.

* Identify opportunities for warehouse optimisation and inventory improvements.

* Leadership & Team Development:

* Support and train DC Team Leaders and staff.

* Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Required

* Experience in inventory management, stock control, and audits.

* Knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG) handling and compliance.

* Familiarity with AI-driven inventory solutions and warehouse optimisation.

* Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and compliance audits.
