I am actively seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Structural Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Warwick. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience across a diverse range of Structural Engineering projects, having navigated complex and challenging designs from inception to completion.

My client specialises in Engineering Consultancy, offering solutions to complex projects, which include tree houses, badger sets, eco houses, river alterations, and museum remodels, showcasing our design versatility.

It is essential for the candidate to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:

* A minimum of a 2:1 BSc/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent

* At least 4 years of post-qualification experience in civil and structural engineering

* A full UK driving license and access to transport

* Chartered or near-chartered status with a relevant body (MICE or MIStructE)

Duties and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer include:

* Comprehensive knowledge of structural design and detailing in accordance with relevant UK and European codes

* Developing preliminary design solutions and collaborating with clients as part of the design strategy

* Creating detailed designs, calculations, specifications, and conducting technical reviews

* Attending design, project progress, and client engagement meetings

* Designing various construction types, including steelwork, reinforced/precast concrete, masonry, and timber

* Conducting structural appraisals for commercial, industrial, and residential structures

* Engaging in marketing and business development with existing clients while identifying new leads
