My client is a well-established Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Gloucester, and they are actively looking for a skilled and motivated Structural Engineers to join their expanding team. With a broad and loyal client base, their portfolio includes diverse and complex projects across the commercial, industrial, retail, public, and residential sectors throughout the UK.

Essential criteria for this Structural Engineer:

* A relevant degree in Civil and Structural Engineering (e.g., BEng/MEng).

* At least 5 years of design experience in Structural Engineering

* Design experience with steel, concrete, timber, and masonry

* Familiar with Tekla design software is preferred

* Strong technical, managerial, and interpersonal abilities, with demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills.

About this Structural Engineering role:

* Develop structural designs for various projects using materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.

* Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide solutions tailored to their needs.

* Guide and mentor junior engineers or technicians, reviewing their work and providing feedback.

* Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

* Propose innovative solutions to optimise structural efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
