We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of a Student Behaviour Mentor in December 2024. We are a specialist education site based in Swindon, supporting students aged 4-16 years old. The Student Behaviour Mentor position focuses on building trust and rapport, developing independence and motivating students throughout their education.

* Supporting pupils facing behaviour management challenges

* Helping students to learn and practice healthy coping mechanisms

* Tracking progress and implementing education plans

* Practice effective communication skills to resolve conflicts and emotional regulation

* Motivate students to develop independence and engagement with learning material

Key qualities of a Student Behaviour Mentor are that you are sure of yourself, have an extroverted nature, value trust and relationships and have patience for those struggling!

Experience supporting children on a personal or professional level is very beneficial but not mandatory. Relevant education or previous experience is welcomed.
