Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join the London team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant consultancy that prides itself on delivering high-quality, sustainable planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a variety of planning applications and appeals.
* Provide expert planning advice to clients, including developers, local authorities, and landowners.
* Engage with stakeholders, attend meetings, and liaise with local authorities.
* Conduct research, feasibility assessments, and provide planning appraisals.
* Prepare planning reports, policy documents, and statements.
* Lead and contribute to public consultations and community engagement processes.
* Mentor junior staff and contribute to the overall growth of the team.
Requirements:
* A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
* Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or working towards chartered status.
* Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and the London planning framework.
* Proven experience in managing complex planning applications and appeals.
* Excellent communication and report writing skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach to planning challenges.
