Job Title: Town Planner / Senior Planner
Location: Cardiff
Are you an experienced Town Planner or Senior Planner looking for an exciting new opportunity? A leading consultancy is seeking a skilled Town Planner to join their growing team in Cardiff, working on a range of high-profile projects across various sectors.
The Role:
As part of this dynamic planning team, you'll be involved in delivering expert planning advice and managing a wide variety of planning applications, from residential to commercial and mixed-use developments. This is a fantastic chance to work with a diverse client base and make a real impact on significant projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the preparation and management of planning applications and appeals.
* Offering strategic planning advice to both public and private sector clients.
* Engaging with local authorities, developers, and other stakeholders.
* Contributing to the development of planning strategies and policies.
* Supporting and mentoring junior planners (for Senior Planner role).
What We're Looking For:
* Relevant degree in Town Planning or a related field.
* Chartered (or working towards chartered status) with the RTPI.
* Experience managing planning applications, ideally within a consultancy environment.
* Strong communication and client management skills.
* Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines.
