A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for an ambitious and experienced Town Planner to joining a UK leading multi-disciplinary consultancy in their Manchester office!

The current team work collaboratively to support and deliver a broad range of applications across residential, mixed-use, retail, logistics, and major infrastructure projects!

The role will involve managing planning casework independently, strategic planning work which includes the preparation of representations to Local Plan consultations, developing planning strategies to promote land, and development for inclusion in Local Plans.

Prospective candidates will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

* MRTPI chartered town planner (or working towards) with experience in a planning consultancy or local government role.

* Strong working knowledge of planning policy, or work in a planning policy role beneficial.

* Strategic thinker and problem solver, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

* Knowledge and experience of planning, development, and environmental issues.

* A market awareness and a good comprehending of local planning issues.
