We're working with a leading consultancy seeking a dedicated professional to join their Planning team in Bristol. This opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, with a hybrid working policy designed to support your individual needs.

The Role:

This position involves working on a diverse range of projects, including renewables, residential developments (with a focus on senior housing), and commercial schemes. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll:

* Undertake public consultations and prepare planning applications.

* Monitor and negotiate planning applications to deliver successful outcomes.

* Conduct research and collate evidence for appeals.

* Manage planning projects, taking ownership as your confidence grows.

You'll be supported every step of the way, with a clear pathway for professional development to help you achieve your career goals.

About You:

We're looking for someone who prides themselves on delivering high-quality work and enjoys collaborating with others to achieve successful outcomes. You should demonstrate:

* A RTPI-accredited degree or equivalent qualification.

* Chartered membership of the RTPI or be working towards it (full support available).

* 1+ years experience in Planning

* Experience in preparing and managing planning applications, statements, or appeals.

* A strong understanding of the UK planning process, whether from the public or private sector.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
