Town Planner - Housebuilder
Ruislip
Are you an experienced Town Planner with a passion for shaping the future of residential development? We have an exciting opportunity for a Town Planner to join a leading residential developer based in Ruislip.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure planning applications meet all relevant guidelines and regulations.
* Prepare, submit, and manage planning applications and appeals.
* Provide expert advice on planning matters and contribute to development strategies.
* Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national planning policies.
* Work on the preparation of technical reports and project documentation for development schemes.
* Attend and present at planning committees, meetings, and public consultations.
Requirements:
* A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (MRTPI qualification preferred).
* Proven experience in town planning, ideally within the residential sector.
* Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
