Truck Driver - Tramper
Location : Gosberton, Lincolnshire
Salary: Competitive
Our client currently grows approximately 3000 acres of vegetables within a 12-mile radius. The main crop production areas are in Gosberton on some of the best arable land in County.
The Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Tramper Driver that is prepared to be away for their working week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over the UK. operating a variety of trucks. Bulk tipper experience is essential.
Key Duties:
* Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to various destinations
* Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
* Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members
* Maintain accurate driving logs and records
Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Truck Driver pulling Fridges/Bulkers/Curtiansiders.
* Valid commercial driver's license (HGV 1) with clean driving record
* Ability to operate delivery trucks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
* Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
* Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
* Good communication skills and customer service orientation
* Minimum 1 year driving experience
* Driving Licence
* Driver CPC
