Impact Recruitment are supporting an exciting client who are a key part of the automotive industry. They specialise in supplying mechanical parts to various racing teams across the world, and are a key player in the motorsport industry. Due to substancial growth they are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative where you will be more than just handballing items around a warehouse. In this role you will be providing Technical Knowledge to customers and supporting them with guidance to purchase correct parts.

Due to our client being based in a rural location, your own transport is needed to get to their site.

This is a Permanent opportunity, directly employed by our client.

Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire

Pay: £28,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience - experience in motorsport or automotive industries is highly desired)

Shift: 8:45am - 5:15pm Monday to Friday

(The role will involve working Saturday's on a rota basis during peak seasons 9:30am-2pm with the full Monday shift off).

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide customers with technical support to give a clear understanding of products.

* Picking, packing, and shipping orders to customers in the UK and abroad.

* Packing orders and managing dispatch process, including stock control.

* Helping customers at the warehouse to solve their problems and answer questions.

* Address customer needs and feedback to wider teams in engineering and product development.

* Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotations, with some administration duties.

* Provide a strong customer service build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

* Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

Required Experience:

* Proven experience in hands on work as well as sales or customer supporting roles.

* Strong interest or understanding of engineering or technical industries such as motorsport.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an approachable manner.

* Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers and or clients.

* Proficiency in using computers including basic Microsoft Office packages.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
