About your new company
My client, a well-established company with several depots is actively seeking to employ an experienced and qualified Welder/Fabricator to work on a full-time permanent basis within their purpose-built new Glasgow Depot.
About your new Welder / Fabricator role
- Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance on a variety of plant and equipment
- MMA & Stick welding
- Welding & fabricating
- Ability to work from technical drawings
The successful Welder / Fabricator will require
- NVQ level 2 in welding & fabricating as a minimum
- Experience working on heavy static and mobile plant
- Solid understanding of MIG & Stick welding
- Understanding of Oxy Propane/Acetylene cutting and burning equipment and process
- Welding up to 50mm thickness
- Line boring experience
- Coded welding desirable but no essential
